Monjoo Review 2 – Alexandra Park

This review is brought to you by Selenpuss who visited Alexandra Park.

This is part 2 in our local review series where the Monjoo tell you where they’ve been and what they think of their home town of Bath.

How was it Selenpuss? Really really high up! I don’t know why I got volunteered – I’m terrified of heights!

Although smaller than many of Bath’s beautiful parks, Alexandra Park makes up for it with it’s amazing views.

Found at the top of Beechen Cliff, 127 metres above sea level, Alexandra Park can be reached by

clambering up 137 steep ramshackle steps through the woods (or by car via Bear Flat if you can’t face that!)

The climb wasn’t that bad was it Selenpuss? Puff, gasp, pah, koff, wheeez ….

So what’s up there? Lots and lots of big trees

Anything else? Ping-pong table, climbing frame, more trees …. there’s no food up there

so take your own picnic unless you want to starve to death.

Many of the trees are over 100 years old
